Interview with Karli Whetstone
CL: Karli, welcome.
KW: Thank you so much for having me.
CL: Please introduce yourself to our readers that may have been hearing about you for the first time.
KW: Well hello everybody, my name is Karli Whestone and I have been in Nashville for 4½ years now. I’ve been lucky enough to be the opening act up for some of the best artists in Nashville like, Taylor Swift, Phil Vasser, Joe Nichols, and Darryl Worley to name a few! I recently wrote a song called, “Ohio,” about my home state! It talks about Ohio and of course the Ohio State Buckeye Football team! It’s been really excited for me because the head coach of the Buckeyes, Jim Tressel loved my song, “Ohio,” so much he plays it every Saturday at Ohio Stadium during football season! It’s really thrilling to think over 105,000 hear, “Ohio” ever Saturday! Currently, I am very excited to have my second single out right now called “I Didn’t”. It’s an up-tempo, in your face, sassy song talking about a girl who is over her know it all boyfriend, the hook of the song goes, “What finally tore our love apart was a matter of religion! He thought he was God And I Didn’t!” So it’s a really fun song and people seem to really enjoy it. We are having a great time going around performing it, and it’s doing very well for us here on the Charts and is playing on almost 200 radio stations!
CL: Sounds good. If people like to get more information about you, what do we have to do.

CL: That’s wonderful! Tell us about the experience since you have been in Nashville.
KW: It’s just great to be in a place like Nashville. I’ve learned so much about becoming a better singer, songwriter and performer! I absolutely love it here and feel very grateful to be living my dream!
